If I've had the bumps for 4 days is it too late for the. This usually is the case with patients getting shingles and very few patients tend to start anti viral medications within 72 hours of getting rash( rash term includes the stage of bumps before getting blisters).Therefore in clinical practice most patients are started on antiviral treatment later than 72 is not enough clinical.
